While writing this, I have found myself feeling a wide array of emotions. On one hand, I am excited to bring the year to a close and provide families, students, and staff with a much-needed opportunity to catch their breath and decompress. On the other hand, closing out a year means saying goodbye to our 8th-grade students and families as they begin their transition to high school. Together, we have endured so much over the past 14 months of school and, along the way, we have all had to stretch and adapt our thinking about what school looks like. I am so proud of all our students, staff and the entire Falcon community who have worked to connect and learn together throughout the many learning model changes experienced this year.
Below are a few additional informational items for you to consider as we wrap up the year:
- In the event your child was not in attendance on the last day(s) of school, items such as yearbooks (if purchased), certificates, band instruments, etc., may be picked up in the main office between the hours of 7:30 am and 2:30 pm Monday through Friday through the month of June. Outstanding fees or fines may also be paid during these hours.
- Final grades will be shared electronically on Friday, June 4, and Honor Roll the week of June 14-18.
- Students attending summer school have been notified by their grade-level assistant principal and/or the summer school administrator regarding details of the program.
Thank you to all our Falcon families for your unwavering support throughout this extraordinary school year. To our 8th grade families, we wish you and your child the very best as you begin your high school experience and we look forward to many future stories of success by our former Falcons. To all, have a terrific summer, enjoy your time with family and friends and let’s all get ourselves prepared for a fantastic 2021-22 school year!
