Summit Success Stories - Week of March 3

MO Scholars 100

LSR7 has six Missouri Scholar 100 recipients. Missouri Scholar 100 celebrates the state's top 100 scholars through an academic decathlon. Having six of those students come from LSR7 is a huge honor. The following students will be honored at a luncheon in May:

Vipers of Doom make State Championship

Special Olympics athletes that competed in the Regional basketball tournament qualified for State!! 

Rhys Burke, a student at Bernard Campbell Middle School, took second place in a lone skills competition.

The two 3v3 teams both took 2nd place. Jaiden James, Jeremiah Shelton, and Andres Chretien are the athletes on the Broncos Team from Lee's Summit North. John Scheur (LSHS), Max Burian (LSN), and Miles Dimino (Miller Park) are on the Doom Team.

The 5 v 5 team took 2nd place as well. The Vipers of Doom are made up of the following incredible athletes:

The state tournament is Saturday, March 29 in St. Louis.
