City of Merriam High School Art Show

Congratulations to the LSR7 students whose work was accepted into the upcoming 28th Annual High School Visual Art Competition hosted by the city of Merriam. The following students had their work accepted for the art show this December:

Middle School Cross Country Championship

Members of the Summit Lakes and Pleasant Lea Middle School cross country teams participated in the Missouri Middle School Championships on Saturday completing the regular season. Both schools competed in the Class 4/5 division against 24 schools and more than 200 runners. Summit Lakes Middle School's girls team took first place, boys team finished in third place. Pleasant Lea Middle School's girls team finished in 10th place, boys finished in 11th place.

Individually, the following runners were in the top 25 receiving a medal and an all-state title:
